EVENT: Gallery Talk with Stuart Shils and Tiffany Tate

Please join us for a discussion featuring artist and PAFA 

professor, Stuart Shils, and artist and AUTOMAT co-founder,
Tiffany Tate, followed by an informal reception on Saturday, February 13th at 4:15.

David Dempewolf, a long-time contributor to the local art scene and co-founder of the local gallery, Marginal Utility, will moderate. Shils and Tate, whose work is included in our current exhibition, “Personal Space” will discuss their differing experiences within Philadelphia’s evolving art world.


The speakers will share their thoughts on Philadelphia's co-op and commercial galleries, and the perks and consequences of becoming involved with either community. They will also discuss the effects of insularity among different groups of artists in Philadelphia.
